School of Business and Economics (SBE)office is one of the six schools delineated under and is accountable to the V/President for Academic Affairs Office. The school director is responsible for the academic and administrative matters of the school in line with the university policies, rules and regulations. Providing holistic capacity building services for the public sector and sustaining implementation of civil service reforms in Oromia and neighboring/developing regions by:
- Providing effective need based training for public sector employees,
- Providing quality higher education tailored to educational demands in the public and private service sector
- Conducting problem solving research, consultancy, coaching and community services.
By 2022 the School of Business and Economics (SBE)aspires to be a center of excellencein East Africa ineducation, training, research and consultancy services on Business and Economics related fields to public and private sectors.
