Centre for Public Sector Reform

Center for Quality and Productivity Improvement (CQPI)

Quality and productivity remain to be the major areas of concern both in the manufacturing and service delivery companies of the 21st century where customers’ needs and demands are ever-changing and at times turning unpredictable. On top of that, the speedy economic growth being registered in various walks of life in the country and the country’s stretched vision to be among the lower level middle income earning nations in the world calls for designing a comprehensive mechanism that can help enhance quality and productivity in the public sectors and beyond. It is with this presumption that Center for Quality and Productivity Improvement was established.

Transforming healthcare services in general and creating Lean Hospitals (where customers can get quality service, at low cost and within the shortest possible time) in particular is one of the major operational areas of the center. In this regard the center provides short courses on quality and productivity improvement and provides follow up and support services.
